To help incentivize this year’s campaign, United Way has once again partnered with Tyler Automotive to provide a “Car Challenge.” Donors who give $156 (or $3 per week) are automatically entered into a drawing for a chance to win a two-year lease on a sub-compact vehicle from Tyler Automotive. You will be re-entered for every $100 given above the minimum gift (maximum of 10 entries). (See below for Rules & Regulations.)

UWSM Car Challenge Sweepstakes Rules & Regulations
GRAND PRIZE: A two-year lease or 24,000 miles (whichever comes first) on a sub-compact vehicle from Tyler Automotive at a value of up to $250 per month during the lease period. (Tyler Automotive reserves the right to award the vehicle from the makes and models displayed during the promotional campaign based on its inventory prior to the Grand Prize event.)
TO ENTER: During the 2021 United Way of Southwest Michigan Annual Campaign, an individual donates/pledges $156.00 or more will qualify for one entry into the Car Challenge and will be automatically entered for a chance to win. Every subsequent $100 donation/pledge (made by the same individual) qualifies him/her for another single entry. (For example, if a person donates $556.00, he/she is entered 5 times into the drawing). A maximum of 10 entries per person. Pledge forms/entry forms must be returned to United Way of Southwest Michigan by 5 p.m. Eastern Time on December 31, 2021. United Way of Southwest Michigan will not be responsible for companies that fail to submit their employees’ pledge forms and contact information by this date. United Way of Southwest Michigan will not be responsible for lost or misdirected mail. Must be 18 years or older, possess a valid driver’s license, and valid full coverage auto insurance. A single entry without donation can also be made by requesting an entry form by mail to: United Way of Southwest Michigan, Attn: Sweepstakes Drawing, 2015 Lakeview Avenue, St. Joseph, MI 49085. Complete the single-entry form containing name, address, phone number, and email address, and mail it to United Way of Southwest Michigan, Attn: Sweepstakes Drawing, 2015 Lakeview Avenue, St. Joseph, MI 49085. United Way of Southwest Michigan reserves the right to determine the validity and eligibility of all entries. A maximum of 10 entries per person.
Entrants agree to hold harmless United Way of Southwest Michigan, Tyler Automotive and their parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, agencies, officers, directors and employees from responsibility for damages, losses or injuries, including death, personal injury or property damage, due in whole or part, directly or indirectly, from participation in this promotion or acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize.
Entrants grant United Way of Southwest Michigan and Tyler Automotive the use of his/her name and photograph in all communication and publicity materials without compensation.

WHO IS NOT ELIGIBLE: United Way of Southwest Michigan Staff, Board Members, Campaign Cabinet Members, and their immediate families and Tyler Automotive employees and their immediate families.
DRAWINGS: Ten (10) finalists’ names will be randomly drawn on January 25, 2022 from all qualifying names. All finalists will be notified and invited to the Grand Prize event tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, February 8, 2022, 5:30 p.m., at Tyler Automotive. Finalists must present United Way of Southwest Michigan, overseeing the contest, with proof of a valid driver’s license at the Grand Prize event on February 16. Failure to provide proof of driver’s license will result in disqualification. All finalists must be present to win, no substitutes are permitted. The top ten (10) finalists present at the February 8th event will have the opportunity to win the grand prize. The top ten finalists present at the grand prize event will each be randomly given a key to a vehicle at the event, the finalist whose key starts the designated vehicle will be determined to be the grand prize winner.
WINNER: The Grand prize winner is liable for and required to pay personal car insurance coverage, vehicle registration, in addition to personal taxes relating to winning the vehicle lease, which may include but are not limited to federal gaming taxes and federal, state, and local income taxes. In order to claim the vehicle, the Grand Prize winner must present proof of valid Michigan auto insurance. The winner must sign a standard lease agreement with Tyler Automotive which entitles the winner to hold the car lease for a two-year period or for 24,000 miles (whichever comes first), and the winner will be subject to all rules, terms, and condition of said lease for the duration of the lease period. Tyler Automotive will pay for the car lease for this period up to a maximum of $250 per month during the lease period. Based upon inventory and standard lease terms available at the time of the final drawing, the Grand Prize Winner may elect to upgrade his or her vehicle, in which case the winner will be responsible for all costs exceeding $250 per month.
