United Way of Southwest Michigan ranks No. 14 on The NonProfit Times “Best Nonprofits To Work For” list for 2023

 Nonprofits nationwide are considered each year to be declared a “Best Nonprofit ToWork For” by nonprofit management publication.

United Way of Southwest Michigan was selected as one of the 2023 “Best Nonprofits to Work For” by The NonProfit Times, the leading national business publication for nonprofit managers. UWSM ranked No. 14 overall. This is United Way’s fourth appearance on the annual list.

special report profiling the organizations selected as the “Best Nonprofits to Work For,” including United Way of Southwest Michigan, will be published in the April 2023 issue of The NonProfit Times.

“Best Nonprofits to Work For” is a research-driven program from The NonProfitTimes and Best Companies Group that examines organization practices, programs, and benefits and surveys employees for their perspective. A few hundred data points are compiled and analyzed to find the best organizations.

Since 2004, Best Companies Group has specialized in identifying and recognizing great employers to work for. It is an independent research firm that ranks companies based on its established research methodology. The NonProfit Times is the leading national business publication for nonprofit management and fundraising. Launched in April 1987, the publication and its numerous digital information channels are designed help nonprofit managers at all levels of experience.
